Happy Guacamole Day!
I loooooove avocados so it’s only natural for me to loooooove guacamole. Guacamole was first served by the Aztecs in Mexico during the 16th century. It’s a staple in modern Mexican American cuisine. This tasty menu item can be used as a dip, condiment or a creamy topping.
Guacamole is created by mashing ripe avocados. Because avocados don’t have a definable taste, you would add salt and lime juice (lime juice keeps the fruit from browning) to give it a sassy flavor.
Avocados are loaded with healthy fats, fiber, and important nutrients and is considered to be a super-food.
