About The Symposium
Texas Black Interior Design Symposium (TXBIDS) was created to provide design rofessionals with the necessary tools to help make them more profitable and bring about an awareness of black interior design professionals within the interior design community/industry.
Shandra Ward and Rhonnika Clifton saw a need in the industry that was not being addressed and decided to move forward and found(ed) the Texas Black Interior Design Symposium (TXBIDS) in 2016.
Its purpose is to explore the disciplines of Interior Design by bringing together interior designers, contractors, home builders, stagers, practitioners, students and other industry related professionals to an educational and networking environment that support cultural diversity through design and encourage global connectivity.
Attendees of the TXBID Symposium is open to everyone who has an interest in networking with designers of diverse backgrounds and have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits, network with peers, discuss the best business practices, benefit from new possibilities, view innovative design products, and influence the direction of the industry as it advances into the future.
