Shandra’s artistic passion ignited at Texas Southern University, where she immersed herself in Art History under the mentorship of esteemed curator Dr. Alvia Wardlaw. Collaborating with fellow alum Rickey Donato, she co-founded an art gallery in Houston’s vibrant 3rd Ward, nurturing budding artists and fostering their exhibition experiences. Her education in art and design continued at Houston Community College, earning an AAS in Interior Design, and culminated with a BA from the Art Institute of Houston, deepening her expertise in the field.
